OE-quality kits can be used to install a rear defroster where one currently does not exist or replace an existing damaged rear window defroster Kits match the look interior auto fan and performance of factory-installed defrosters, melting snow interior auto fan and ice in seconds for safe winter driving Each kit provides full rear window coverage with an attractive factory look. Multiple lines of strong self-adhesive trim-to-fit copper heating elements (grids) come on pre-spaced rolls for easy interior auto fan and accurate application. These copper heating elements match the brownish color of factory defrosters interior auto fan and adhere directly to the glass. There is no plastic backing to crack or yellow, ensuring an unobstructed rear view. Brass side-mounted bus bars are covered with black plastic molding strips for an attractive finished look. The touch activated timing switch—shuts off the defroster manually or automatically after 12 minutes—mounts in or under the dash interior auto fan and features an LED indicator when activated. Take a good look at your vehicle's rear window to establish the area for the Clear View defroster. Measure the Glass. Measure to the edges of the glass interior auto fan and select a Clear View Kit that is at least 1-3" (3-8 cm) smaller in vertical height than the window's maximum vertical height. The width measurement is less critical as the defroster is trimmed during installation. Observe the minimum interior auto fan and maximum defroster widths. Select the Clear View Kit.
